Beautiful Life, Beautiful Problems!
Life is a mirage, an illusional presentation of reality; not all that glitters is gold, and expectations are not a reality. If wishes were always fulfilled, life would be a bed of roses, but life is neither so nor will it ever be so. Hence, there is a need to live in a world of reality to avoid unexpected hiccups and tsunami waves of life.
We often perceive
life as a sequence of desires fulfilled, dreams realized, and success
effortlessly attained. However, the truth is far from such an idealized vision.
Just as a mirage deceives a weary traveller in the desert, life presents
illusions that mask the struggles and uncertainties hidden beneath its surface.
One may aspire for wealth, believing it guarantees happiness, only to realize
that it comes with responsibilities, anxieties, and unrelenting expectations.
Hence, life is
like a beautiful woman; it is often perceived as perfect and untroubled but
carries unseen burdens and silent struggles. These 'beautiful problems' could
be the challenges we face in our relationships, the hurdles we overcome in our
careers, or the personal growth we achieve through our struggles. Society often
places life on a pedestal, adorning it with admiration and privilege, yet
beneath the surface lies a battle unknown to many. Though celebrated, life
comes with challenges — misconceptions, envy, and unrelenting scrutiny. The
world often assumes that life has an easier path and that doors open
effortlessly before it. But the truth is far from that — another illusion of
life.
The same applies
to relationships —what appears to be perfect love from a distance may be
conflicts with misunderstandings, compromises, and emotional turmoil. Nor does
friendship come with perfection; it, too, can be deceptive. Some may seem
genuine, but when tested by hardship or challenges, they vanish like an
illusion fading under scrutiny. The mirage of external perfection often
conceals an underlying complexity that can only be understood when one steps
closer to reality.
Success, often
glorified as the ultimate destination, is another illusion society chases. We
are led to believe that achievement brings unending joy. Yet, those who reach
great heights often discover new burdens, loneliness, and an insatiable hunger
for more — yes, the inextinguishable urge for beautiful life problems. The
pursuit of perfection, whether in career, relationships, or personal growth, is
an unending race — each milestone revealing another mirage on the horizon.
Despite these illusions, life remains a beautiful paradox. The key to
navigating its mirages lies in embracing its imperfections. We must learn to navigate the tides, to separate the
genuine from the superficial. We must build a strength that is more than skin
deep, an inner resilience forged through the trials of perception. Beauty may
be our gift, but our essence, mind, and spirit define us far more. True
happiness is not found in an idealized vision but in the ability to find
contentment amidst uncertainty. Recognizing that challenges and disappointments
are inherent parts of life allows us to appreciate the beauty in the struggle
and the joy in the journey.
In the end, life is neither as easy nor as perfect as it appears from
afar. It is a series of ever-shifting illusions that test our strength,
resilience, and adaptability. The wise learn to distinguish between reality and illusion, embracing
life with a grounded perspective. A beautiful life may
come with beautiful problems, but it is in overcoming them that we find true
fulfilment. Beautiful life, beautiful problems, indeed.
